WebResourceSync
Edit Dataverse web resources as local files, with live sync.
- Stack
- Tauri · Rust · React · Vite · Node.js · TypeScript · MSAL
- Type
- desktop, developer-tools, power-platform
A desktop app that maps Power Apps / Dataverse web resources to a local folder, syncs changes as you save and publishes them without leaving your editor.
Working on Dataverse web resources usually means copy-pasting code into a browser editor. WebResourceSync lets you use your own editor instead.
Features
- Sign in with your Microsoft account. It uses Microsoft’s public client, so no app registration is needed.
- Link a local folder to an environment and solution; files map to web resources automatically.
- Live sync: saving a file uploads it; publish one resource or everything with one click.
- Release builds and CI via GitHub Actions.
Architecture
A Tauri (Rust) shell hosts a React + Vite UI, with a Node/TypeScript sidecar that talks to the Dataverse Web API.
