A browser extension that converts informal Latin-letter Khmer ("Sing Khmer") into Khmer Unicode as you type, with a picker when a word has several spellings.

Many Cambodians chat in romanized Khmer because the Khmer keyboard is slow to type on. Khmer Loeun (“fast Khmer”) converts it on the fly: type chong and get ចង់.

  • Works in text fields in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari (Manifest V3).
  • When a romanization is ambiguous, a small picker lets you choose the right word.
  • A JSON dictionary plus a Node CLI to add and validate new words.
